I’m self-employed, do I need to pay in taxes throughout the year?
Generally yes, you need to pay into the IRS and the state in which you work every quarter. Usually you will need to pay in 100% of your taxes due in the prior year or 90% of your current year taxes to avoid penalties. What if I am unable to meet with you in person, can you still prepare my taxes?
Yes, we can prepare your taxes, even if you are unable to meet with us in person. We work with many clients virtually. You can provide all of your tax documents to us via mail, email or SmartVault (a secure file sharing portal). We can then work together to complete your return.
