Can I set up a payment plan for the amount I owe the IRS?
I don’t have the details from a prior year return. Can I get this from the IRS somehow?
I’m self-employed, do I need to pay in taxes throughout the year?
Generally yes, you need to pay into the IRS and the state in which you work every quarter. Usually you will need to pay in 100% of your taxes due in the prior year or 90% of your current year taxes to avoid penalties. How long will it take to get my refund?
Generally, if you e-file, it only takes about 2 weeks to get your refund (though it can take longer).
Can I find out when I’ll receive my federal refund after you’ve e-filed?
What if I am unable to meet with you in person, can you still prepare my taxes?
Yes, we can prepare your taxes, even if you are unable to meet with us in person. We work with many clients virtually. You can provide all of your tax documents to us via mail, email or SmartVault (a secure file sharing portal). We can then work together to complete your return.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept many forms of payment: Cash, check, bank debit, credit card, PayPal and Chase QuickPay.
How do I log into SmartVault and upload documents?
A: Once you receive an invite to SmartVault from us, you can upload and access all of your documents. If you are having trouble logging in, or uploading documents, please review our SmartVault instructions HERE.
